SKEET SKEET SKEET, MOTHERFUCKERS!

Went to Chapters and Future Shop today with mom. I wish I had more money, because I could have spent a shitload at Chapters. In the music section, they had a few of those little books on a specific album. They had the books for The Velvet Underground & Nico by the Velvet Underground, Harvest by Neil Young, and OK Computer by Radiohead. There was also a biography of the Velvet Underground that looked interesting. May have to go back and get those.

The graphic novel section has been increased in size. It's basically double what it once was, but with much of that space given to manga. They had some shit that looked good, like the two Sin City books I plan to get next (Family Values and To Hell And Back). Basically, I'm saving the three movie ones for last--The Hard Goodbye for dead last since I have an older edition of it already.

Nick Hornby's new book is out as well, but it's in hardcover and I'll wait for paperback with him. I love his writing, but it doesn't warrant hardcover buying with me. There were also copies of the books of his I don't own yet.

Ended up buying Shakey: Neil Young's Biography by Jimmy McDonough. It's supposed to be the bio on Young and beyond that, just a damn good book. It's over 700 pages, so it should keep me occupied for a week or two.

At Future Shop, they didn't really have much that I wanted. So far, I haven't been able to find a copy of Tonight's The Night by Young, which is the album I really want of his. Did get On The Beach, though, which along with Tonight's The Night and Zuma forms a little trilogy of albums, I gather, so it wasn't a total loss.

Also couldn't find the director's cut of American Psycho, which Future Shop was supposed to have for thirteen bucks or something. There was a whole to-do with even finding someone to ask in case they had it in stock, but not out. Fucking place.

I have a headache.
